So thrilled to announce that Human Activity has been shortlisted for the inaugural Stoddart Playwright Award.
Generously supported by Daniel and Hayley Stoddart this prestigious award recognises an outstanding play text displaying an original Australian voice. The winner will receive a $10,000 prize and a possible presentation of the work in an upcoming season program.

'In Sydney, the day after the Lindt Cafe siege, a group of disparate characters travel through the grieving city. As birds swirl above them and flowers proliferate at their feet, issues of control, domestic and political terrorism, economic disparity, racial abuse, love and loss coalesce into a critical moment of lived trauma. Told with unexpected humour and a sharp eye, Human Activity places the individual at the locus of world events to examine the ripple effect of acts of violence.'
The winner will be announced on 23 November.
